Using the Calendar
The calendar gives you a visual overview of your scheduled tasks and plans.
The calendar view
Go to Calendar in the navigation to see your tasks laid out by day and week. Each task appears as a block showing:
- The task title
- Start and end times
- Project color coding
- Priority indicator
Viewing your schedule
You can view your tasks by:
- Day β Focus on what's happening today
- Week β See the full week at a glance
Click on any task in the calendar to view its details or make changes.
Google Calendar events
If you've connected Google Calendar, your events appear alongside your FlowPlan tasks. This gives you a complete picture of your day β both scheduled work and external commitments.
The auto-scheduler uses these events to avoid conflicts when planning your tasks.
Period scheduling
Need to plan for a specific time range? Period scheduling lets you:
- Go to Calendar > Period Scheduling
- Create a new period (daily, weekly, monthly, or custom date range)
- Assign tasks to that period
- Track progress within the period
This is useful for planning sprints, weekly goals, or monthly projects.
Tip: Use the weekly calendar view on Sunday evening or Monday morning to get a clear picture of the week ahead. Adjust any tasks that need to be moved before the week starts.
