Connecting Notion

If you already manage tasks or projects in Notion, you can sync them with FlowPlan to use the auto-scheduler and other features.

What does this integration do?

The Notion integration lets you:

  • Import tasks from your Notion databases into FlowPlan
  • Map Notion fields to FlowPlan task fields (title, priority, due date, etc.)
  • Sync multiple databases if you organize your work across different Notion pages
  • Keep everything in sync with manual sync triggers

Setting up the connection

Step 1: Get your Notion API token

  1. Go to notion.so/my-integrations
  2. Click New integration
  3. Name it "FlowPlan" and select your workspace
  4. Copy the Internal Integration Token

Step 2: Share your database with the integration

  1. Open your Notion database
  2. Click the ... menu in the top-right corner
  3. Click Connections > Connect to > Select "FlowPlan"

Step 3: Connect in FlowPlan

  1. Go to Integrations in FlowPlan
  2. Find the Notion section
  3. Paste your API token
  4. FlowPlan will detect your shared databases
  5. Select the database(s) you want to sync

Mapping fields

FlowPlan needs to know which Notion fields correspond to task properties:

FlowPlan field Notion property Example
Title Title property "Finish report"
Description Text property "Q4 financial summary"
Duration Number property 60 (minutes)
Priority Select property "High"
Status Status property "In progress"
Due date Date property 2026-02-15
Project Select property "Marketing"

Configure these mappings in the Notion settings within FlowPlan.

Syncing your tasks

After setup, go to Integrations and click Sync Notion to pull your latest tasks. FlowPlan will import new tasks and update existing ones based on external IDs.

Tip: You can connect multiple Notion databases β€” one for personal tasks, another for work, etc. Each can have its own field mapping.
